mpefritz
From www.bridgebase.com/acbl Only GCC conventions are allowed -- Multi, Polish club, etc. are not. Is Polish club (and associated bids) really not GCC? fritz
inquiry
From what I think I know about polish club and general convention card, most of polish club should be GCC legal. I leave it up to people who know more about both to touch on the edges of what is and what is not legal... I will be curious to see a full explaination mysefl. hrothgar
The "core" of Polish club is completely legal in the ACBL By this, I mean that The 1♣ opening a follow-up auctions are GCC legal. [This includes specialized treatments like 1♣ - 1♦ - 1♥ = 3 hearts] The 1♦/1♥/1♠/1N/♣2♣ openings are all perfectly legit The "optional" 2NT opening, show both minors is also GCC legal. Second round relays like 1♣ - 1♥ - 2♦ are also fine. However, many ancilary bids, including Wilkosz/Multi- 2♦ openings and two suited major suit openings are not GCC legal. hard to tell what the actual notice refers to...
