pooltuna
Write some blank space followed by two zeros in my scorecard? You don't sit for this ...you stand up in your chair and yell "harvest time"
gwnn
I won't bid and I can't redouble. So I will pass and settle for 800.
bluecalm
I don't think it's harvest time at all. After all overcaller probably has KJTxxx with some strength in dummy (partner is passed hand) so he will be able to score a low trump or two by ruffing some major cards. I still pass but I expect to get 300, sometimes 100 and very rarely 500.
gwnn
overcaller does not have KJTxxx of diamonds. anyway why is it so important how much he goes for? pass is 100% clear.
Phil
Pass. I'm guessing there was some confusion surrounding 2♦ and this was a MI / UI situation?

If RHO has these entries that you are so pessimistically assuming and LHO has the diamonds over you then you are getting 300 at mps when you have no game and most other people won't be getting it. Yay!
wank
i pull to 5nt pick a slam - there must be a slam on and they escape cheaply in 2Dx for this hand to have been posted at all
655321
i pull to 5nt pick a slam - there must be a slam on and they escape cheaply in 2Dx for this hand to have been posted at allGood thought, but partner is a passed hand. Perhaps partner has a weak hand with 6-6 in the majors and 2♦X is cold - after all even this thread has a couple of people who wanted to double instead of bidding their suits, and doubling with both majors is much more plausible than doubling in that thread. Anyway, agree with the obvious pass of course.
benlessard
In most poll there is always a clueless option that is completly irrelevant. This one is no exception.

andrei
actually I have asked the wrong question, not a surprise that nobody is bidding here. It should have said: "do you expect to score more than +100 if you leave the double in?" some posters think yes but hey, apparently I created the first unanimous poll, so that's something  the table result was 2Dx =, when partner led Q♠ from: [hv=d=n&v=n&n=sqj9xxhqtxxdcqtxx&w=saxhkxxdk8765xcxx&e=sktxhjxxdtxcajxxx&s=sxxxhaxxdaqj9xckx]399|300|Scoring: MP[/hv]

jdonn
Write some blank space followed by two zeros in my scorecard? how does one write a blank space? Good question. I'm too bitter to think about it. One day my partner will have an ace, or a king, or just not give up a trick on lead.
