kenberg
Black, fresh and strong. I think I have Guatemalan right now but I can't say I think that much about such details. I find all flavored coffees, meaning vanilla or pecan or whatever, uniformly undrinkable. I like Greek coffee on occasion, and I have a cappuccino machine somewhere, in the garage maybe, but for daily drinking it should be basic coffee. blackshoe
I rarely drink it, but if I'm doing so, Irish. However, finding good Irish coffee in this town (Rochester NY) is problematic.
Phil
My favorite is whatever I'm drinking at the time. I have some idiosyncrasies: - I cannot drink coffee that in a cup that is more than 2/3 full. When I was 21, my dad brought me a 200 degree cup that was 1/16" from the top, and naturally it spilled on me causing 2nd degree burns. - I cannot stand coffee in a glass mug. I can't explain why but I swear it tastes differently. - I prefer that it not be served in a black or even a dark mug. For some reason it tastes weaker. And I never ever put anything in it. gwnn
I visited France for two weeks about a year ago. Coffee there has really a different taste, at least to what I was used to, that's where I got addicted.
MickyB
I have just moved in with my girlfriend, my previous landlord/housemate had a decent espresso machine but I decided to go one better and get a separate grinder and machine. It's a bit fiddley but so worth it.

G_R__E_G
Tim Hortons. Non-Canadians will most likely not understand this but this is a chain of coffee shops that is named after a former NHL player (who was a hall of famer and was tragically killed in a car accident back in the '70s). It's become a Canadian institution, they even have one on our military base in Afghanistan.

pooltuna
Civet feces...CIVET FECES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Just kidding, not a coffee drinker) Too rich for my blood. I mean $100/lb is a bit stiff. I'll take my beans straight from the plant and then roasted. Passing them through a civet is not a requirement for me :)
