favourite coffee?

Black, fresh and strong. I think I have Guatemalan right now but I can't say I think that much about such details. I find all flavored coffees, meaning vanilla or pecan or whatever, uniformly undrinkable. I like Greek coffee on occasion, and I have a cappuccino machine somewhere, in the garage maybe, but for daily drinking it should be basic coffee.

My favorite is whatever I'm drinking at the time. I have some idiosyncrasies:

- I cannot drink coffee that in a cup that is more than 2/3 full. When I was 21, my dad brought me a 200 degree cup that was 1/16" from the top, and naturally it spilled on me causing 2nd degree burns.

- I cannot stand coffee in a glass mug. I can't explain why but I swear it tastes differently.

- I prefer that it not be served in a black or even a dark mug. For some reason it tastes weaker.

And I never ever put anything in it.

"How can anything that smells so wonderful taste so foul?" -- Lady Dame Honor Stephanie Alexander-Harrington, Steadholder Harrington, Duchess Harrington, Countess White Haven, Fleet Admiral, Grayson Space Navy, Fleet Admiral, Royal Manticoran Navy, KCG, PC, SG (w/Swords), PMV, etc., etc.

The Admiral prefers cocoa.

Tim Hortons. Non-Canadians will most likely not understand this but this is a chain of coffee shops that is named after a former NHL player (who was a hall of famer and was tragically killed in a car accident back in the '70s). It's become a Canadian institution, they even have one on our military base in Afghanistan.
