cloa513
See Step 1 of Balancing seat double for my hand. Anyway after my double, opener rebids 2♣, partner bids 2♥, RHO: 2♠, I went 3♥, Opener: 3♠, Partner: 4♥...... What do you think of that bidding any other options for my side? 655321
[hv=s=sakjhaqxxdqxxxxcx]133|100|[/hv] 3♥ is a big underbid, I would just bid 4♥ instead.
pooltuna
so if you had an uncontested auction with these hands that wentyou cho1♦ 1♥ you only bid 3♥ with this hand?
jdonn
so if you had an uncontested auction with these hands that wentyou cho1♦ 1♥ you only bid 3♥ with this hand? I only bid 3♥ on that auction and frankly it's not a hard decision. But the given auction is different and I bid 4♥ on it of course.
dake50
Would the 1N instead of X have gotten the as-if-opened H-xfer? Now this hand hides 5xD and 1xC --defense easy error!
cloa513
BTW this is partner's hand♠xx♥J10xx♦KJxx♣Axxrather than 4♥ is double with value outside of hearts a viable option?
OleBerg
so if you had an uncontested auction with these hands that wentyou cho1♦ 1♥ you only bid 3♥ with this hand? When partner replies 1 over 1 in a major, and I can make game facing Kxxxx and a doubleton, I bid it. Actually I would splinter here, as it doesn't show more under my agreements.
