pirate22 Posted August 14, 2010 Report Share Posted August 14, 2010 i was playing with a partner today and picked up a nice hand. 4/6/1/2 21 points total---- i opened 1ht-p-2cl-p and i decided to reverse and bid 2sp..............having made this bid,before i realised what was happening my hand dissapeared,up came another hand with about 8 points....my bid came up 2sp????? it went pass 4sp from partner x by opp???I typed in chat "Something wrong" no answer so clicked redeal and it was granted.I explained to opps what had happened and also said ty. incidentally while kibbing a table earlier i think this situation occured to them.have we a glitch running rampant on BBO Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

heyrocky Posted August 16, 2010 Report Share Posted August 16, 2010 This feature is implemented if the kibitzer, who has seen at least one, and likely all, the players' hands, takes an empty seat at the table. This is probably what happened in the case you described above, and may have happened so quickly that you were not aware of it. (I see this occasionally when I have to boot a non-responsive player; sometimes the seat is filled so quickly it looks as if someone else was waiting for the seat.)
