Jinksy
When I logged on (browser) today, BBO told me it had moved my chat box to the thin column on the left and hidden it behind a tab, which is an awful layout. I asked my partner if it had done the same to him, and he denied it, so is there some way I can change it back? (and if so, how?) fred
There is a "slider" just above where the chat area normally resides that can be used to set the size of the chat area. It looks sort of like a small equals sign (=) in the middle of a dark gray strip that extends horizontally across much of the screen. Click the slider, hold your mouse button down, and drag your mouse upward. Then release the mouse button when the space you create is as big as you would like the chat area to be. The chat area only appears in a tab at the right if the slider has been adjusted so that there is not enough space for it to fit at the bottom. heyrocky
While we are on the subject, is BBO Flash capable of altering the cursor to look like that resize button, an equals sign with two arrows pointing up and down? That happened to me this evening, and I have no idea how it occurred, since I never resized any parts of the screen while online. When I moved the cursor out of the BBO window (Firefox 3.6.8, Flash 10.1.82.76), onto my desktop (Intel iMac 10.6.4) it looked normal again, but when I moved it back, wherever it was in the BBO browser window, it looked as described above. I had to log off and log back on again to fix it.
diana_eva
Could be because you clicked on the scroll wheel between the two mouse buttons. Click the wheel again to get back to non-scroll mode.
