Cyberyeti
1♦-1♥2N-3♣(artificial game force - semi forced)4♦-4N (huge 2452 - spade cue and slam interest)5♦-6♣ (diamond control, no club control - first round club control, no 2nd round spade control)6♦-7♥ (AK of diamonds and still interested in grand - well it might be on AKxxx of diamonds opposite Jxxx, but could be cold, Ax, AKxx, AKxxx, xx guaranteed and may have QD as well)
TylerE
Actual auction ATT was as follows: 1♦-1♥4♥-4♠ (RKC 3014)5♣ -5NT (Specific King Ask)6♦-7♥. Certainly got us there, but I didn't know for sure diamonds were running.

Free
Perhaps with slight DD vision:2♣ - 2♦ (strong ; positive)3♥ - 4♦ (4♥ 5+♦ ; *DD* sets ♦)4♥ - 4NT (cue ; RKC blacky)5♣ - 5♥ (1/4 ; ♦Q?)5NT - 7NT (yes + ♥K ; can count 13 tricks) After 3♥ we don't have a good way to set ♥. 9 card ♥ fit vs 9+ card ♦ fit, which one to set? If you know you're looking for grand, it's obvious to set ♦ because we can't ask about the ♦Q otherwise. 4♦ is the practical solution, but ok, maybe a little use of DD vision here
Cyberyeti
Dealer: North Vul: None Scoring: IMP ♠ Ax ♥ AKxx ♦ AKQxx ♣ Jx ♠ Kx ♥ Qxxxx ♦ Jxxx ♣ Ax Auctions? 1d=1h4s=5c5d=5s6d=7h 4s=rkc in h\5c=15d=Q ask5s=QH and KS6d=grand try... shows KD Immediate blackwood is ridiculous. If partner shows no aces, how do you find out if partner has: Kx, Qxxxxx, Jxxx, x rather than Kx, Qxxxx, Jxxx, xx to know whether to bid the small slam. ONEferBRID
Dealer: North Vul: None Scoring: IMP ♠ Ax ♥ AKxx ♦ AKQxx ♣ Jx ♠ Kx ♥ Qxxxx ♦ Jxxx ♣ Ax Auctions? How does any auction ( other than a "Rexfordized" one ) know that the Diam are going to come in for the 13th trick ? I can only count 12 most likey "for sure" with any of the 2NT auctions. No matter who takes control, Opener doesn't know that Responder has 4d and Responder doesn't know that Opener has 5. Responder could be: ♠ Kx ♥ Qxxxx ♦ xx ♣ AJxx

Responder could be: ♠ Kx ♥ Qxxxx ♦ xx ♣ AJxx A number of the auctions that start with 1♦ have responder supporting diamonds or taking the decision themselves in the knowledge that partner has 5. The common thread where responder takes the decision is where he doesn't know whether opener has AKxxx or AKQxx, but can count 13 if it's the latter and knows the diamond suit is >50% if the former (the contract may be a fraction less if partner doesn't have J♥ depending on spots). It's entirely possible on the hand you gave that 7 will make or that xx of diamonds will actually be Jx. The no play nightmare is KQ, QJxxx, x, Axxxx. The auction I gave above can count 13 when the red suits run, and has exactly the dilemma of does partner have the Q♦.

the hog
Again a baby hand using a relay system. 1C 1S pos with H1N 2C Ds2D 2H higher ranking suit longer2S 3C 25423D 3S 6 AKQ controls4C 4H something in H, but not in Ds4S 5D something in S and C, no second hon in H5H 5N J of Ds, but no second hon in S6C 6D no 2nd hon in Cs, so must have K of S, Q of H, J of Ds and A of Cs 7NT This is really trivial for a relay system.
