peachy
[hv=v=b&s=saj763h83da8caq95]133|100|Scoring: IMP(1NT) by dealer, your turn. [/hv] NT was 15-17Your NT defense is:2C = majors, rest natural2NT = minorsDbl = penalty. Advancer may pull with weak distributional hands but leave it in with all balanced hands. You and partner are good local experts. Opponents run of the mill average.Hand 10 of 12-board set, IMP tourney on BBO. Your score few IMPs on the plus.Anything else you need to know? jkdood
I like 2s, despite seeing what the better players are voting (above,) It seems safer at imps, where if that is a poor spot, I am less likely to be doubled into game. It would help to know if opps x's are negative or penalty on the 2-level... if negative (my own pref) its harder to get caught speeding! I also like 2S because it takes up room, suggests a pleasant strain, and because double gives them so much room to use all their tools. P.S. Mr. Landy likes your methods also! Phil
Nice defense vs NT, I play the same. I like double to start though I doubt it will be popular :P It is with me. Looks like a good start (and then show my spades).
kgr
DBL or Pass for me, but can probably not resist to DBL Nice defense vs NT, I play the same. I like double to start though I doubt it will be popular :) It is with me. Looks like a good start (and then show my spades). If partner pulls the DBL (=weak distributional hand) to f.i. 2H, will you then bid 2S? I would pass if partner pulls the DBL.If LHO bids 2D/2H then maybe I would bid 2S??
