Hanoi5
The first double by West? I blame North for not showing his second suit and for getting partner to a 5 lvl game with a void (though I know it can be right at times) Edit: I didn't quite realize North can't bid his second suit naturally, but I still blame him the most. aguahombre
How do we get to 5D by South? (Depending on exact trump spots of North and East, of course.)
Cyberyeti
How do we get to 5D by South? (Depending on exact trump spots of North and East, of course.) Why is south removing 3Nx, doesn't he have very much what he's showed, 6+ clubs and a minimum opening bid, and his partner was happy. 3N is at least as good as 5D and makes due to the fortunate lie of the diamonds, with overtricks potentially if W doesn't cash out. MFA
Raising to 5♣ was silly. When partner runs from 3NT he will have a minimum, so no way there will be 11 tricks. I don't think south should run from 3NTX, but those things are often also a matter of table precence so they are hard to judge afterwards. I assume that the partnership agrees that 3♦ is gameforcing as it seems.
neilkaz
One wonders why South ran from 3NTx, but north's raise of the runout on a void seems really silly.
jdonn
North raising would be the worst bid, if not for the fact that that west seems to have just one double card in his box.
neilkaz
North raising would be the worst bid, if not for the fact that that west seems to have just one double card in his box. My guess is that West didn't hit 5♣ since he felt sure of down a few and was unsure whether he could beat a runout to 5♦x by enough ? I wonder if North was planning on running to 5♦x if 5♣ got whacked. Anyhow, the majority of the blame has to go to raising a run out on a void. cherdanno
Huh? Do you play 3D as forcing?Anyway, the worst bid was West's failure to double 5♣, the second-worst the raise to 5♣. Btw, I disagree with Josh, West seems to have two double cards :)

nigel_k
If 3♦ was forcing, North 85%. If 3♦ was not forcing, North 65%.
