cloa513
On board 468, the flash client would not allow me to play the singleton Q♠ whether as lead or following dummy lead of A♠. Fortunately it didn't matter much as I declared making 13 tricks finally accepted by opponents but its was tense for a while. BTW No problems after that board. uday
Thanks, will save this for the developer ( he is off at an ACBL tournament for a week or so ).
dlbalt
On board 468, the flash client would not allow me to play the singleton Q♠ I have had the same problem several times now. The Flash client won't allow me to play a card or cards. Typically, it is a sequence of cards at the top or near the top of a suit. Today I held ♠AK987. After my P led a low ♠ I was able to play A but not K, and could not lead K at the next trick. Throughout the hand, I couldn't play K♠ or the card next to it (9 I think). I'm using Firefox with Shockwave Flash 10.1.53.
barmar
This has already been posted by several people in the Web-Client V37 thread. I've never had this problem using hand diagram layout. Try that and see if it helps.
Rain
What kind of OS do you guys use? Wonder if that matters.
Mr. Dodgy
I've had this happen too. RHO led ♠J, I held ♠QT and I could not play the Q! (the left-most card) in my hand, using 'pictures of cards' option. Win2K If it happens again I will try switching to HD.
cloa513
It wasn't the most left card in my hand- it seems to have an occasional problem with the queen of spades. I have Win7(Japanese version) thats why I use the Flash version for English (wife's computer- difficult to install anything).
cloa513
Anyway any way to play a card other than select it by mouse.
Rain
No other way to select with the flash version, sorry. We're keeping tabs on these bug reports for Fred, please keep it coming. Thanks :)
dlbalt
What kind of OS do you guys use? Wonder if that matters. Windows 7 Home Prem, 64 bit.
cloa513
I got stuck again on board 56 (I think) I had ♥AKxx and after playing the ace couldn't play the King. - we tossed the deal in after repeated requests by a new player. I changed the card view but didn't get a chance to test whether that improved the ability to play. BTW I'm on Win7 Home Premium Japanese Version. DJNeill
I had some players at a teaching table that could not play a card using Windows client (old way). I don't know their OS. Happened to all 3 at same table at different times in the session. Thanks,Dan
