My partner sent me system notes (all of one page) one week before we bid. We have played off and on for many years and are both familiar with the methods we are using. Fairly new, regular partnership. My partner knows the system inside out , a lot of new stuff for me but I'm getting used to it and forgetting less each time we play. This time we'll use a newer version, but some of the old stuff is still the same. Especially competitive boards will be tough I'm afraid. We have played occasionally online for a couple of years and one weekend in Dublin, will be playing the swiss pairs in brighton also.
