TimG
Do you log out or just close the window? I think you need to log out before closing the window in order to save the setting changes.
inquiry
tim is right. If you close the FLASH window by clicking the "x" in the upper right hand corner of the window, settings are not saved. If you go through log out then they are.
JP Montoya
Do you log out or just close the window? I think you need to log out before closing the window in order to save the setting changes. Thanks for thinking with me... I tried both situation, with and w/o click on loggoff, no saving in either case. Remind you, i close the IE after logging off. If i keep this session of IE active after logging of, settings works as expected. Btw, it doesnt save my nick while logging in. This seems nothing to do with being logged in or not. I gave Flash all rights, even for microphone ;) that didnt help 2:( ML PS , u know a Flash debugger, so i can see errors?

fred
The web-client, being a Flash program, has only a very limited ability to store data on your local hard disk. This is what the web-client tries to do in order to save your user options. There are a few things that could go wrong: 1) Most options are saved only if and when you explicitly log off (as someone else mentioned). If you close your browser window without actually clicking the "Log off" button, your options settings will not be saved. 2) If you use more than one PC to log in to BBO, you will have to set up the options you want on each of your PCs. 3) It is possible that either the area that Flash uses to store this information has been filled up or that you have explicitly told Flash not to allow BBO to access this facility (no doubt unintentionally). You can solve either of these problems by altering the configuration of this facility through: Link to Adobe configuration web page Hopefully you can figure it out from there because I am going to a long tournament starting tomorrow and I may not be in a position to respond to Forums posts (or e-mails) while I am away. If you can't figure out how to use this web page, you still might want to try posting here. A lot of experienced computer users read Forums and it is likely that someone will be in a position to help you. JP Montoya
Thanks Fred, this is the solution. :) After resetting the options, it works again. So after all some Flash rights were cuasing this hickup. Martin
