mrdct
On a netbook (I use a Dell Latitude 2100 with a 1024x600 screen size running Windows 7) in the flash version I can't create a teams match because I can't move the dialog box high enough to click OK. The dialog box needs to be a bit more landscape to better suit the netbook screen layout (which last time I checked represented the majority of laptop sales in most parts of the world). barmar
For those of you having problems clicking on a card, try switching to hand diagram mode. I use this style and haven't seen the problem. I know you prefer pictures of cards, but since Fred is away at the NABC for the next week, the bug isn't going to be fixed right away.
babalu1997
It is still very difficult for me to find a place to play in the main bridge club I do not çike the take me to a table feature because I would like to at least look at the partner's profile the mouse over takes a while, but i tried for quite a a while and got the message-- you cannot join table, about 85% of the time otherwise i got-- seat no lomger available or permission denied i am sure that many like the take me to a table feature, but that is generally bad bridge with people frequently leaving the table i suspect that others experience what i have experienced so they use take me to a tbale and then whne dont want to play with the partner they leave and try take me to a table again this is annoying for a pair who cannot play one hand with several redeal requests is there a way for automatic refresh evry so many minutes? babalu1997
There is a Refresh button in the top right corner of the list of tables. yes, i do use the refresh button once i refresh, it takes time select a table and look at the profile of available partners -when a table has no permission required, the seats are taken with the speed of light, thorugh others who use the take me to a table feature where a table requires permission, i get seat no longer avalaibale or permission required at least 75% of the time when i play from home, i use the windows version because it is easy to find a place to play in the main bridge club anytime this week, i am away and have to use the browser on someone's computer, it is a nightmare because i have been a member of bbo for several years, i can find marked freinds from the lobby, but when no one is available, it is a nighmare so i just logoff

bb79
if you use "show EW hands vertically" option, when east becomes dummy, one suit may stay hidden behind the bidding diagram. "Use smaller cards" option does not help. screenshots:http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/8150/bbo1.jpghttp://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3318/bbo2.jpg
bb79
When you use the picture of cards option, if 4th player "double clicks" a card, and wins the trick, automatically the card next to the winning card is played in the next trick, even if there is animation after the end of the trick. This may cause some nuisance, more than usual unintentional misclicks.

You can get this mode to display properly if you increase the vertical to horizontal ratio of the table. But thanks anyway for your report and for taking the trouble to collect and post screenshots. This may cause some nuisance, more than usual unintentional misclicks. It is actually the case that you never have to double click anywhere in the web-client. If I recall correctly the same thing is true in the Windows client and I suspect the same (admittedly undesirable) behavior occurs there. Not sure what would be involved to prevent this from happening, but unless I get more reports of people having problems with this I am probably not going to do anything about it (at least not in the near future). fred
The problem with sending chats from the profile chat line is still occurring, at least half the time. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, nothing obvious as to why. I can use the workaround described above, but it's annoying. I'm on an eMac, OS X 10.5.8. Thanks. This will be fixed when we release the next version of the web-client. Not sure when this will happen... Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. Working on it... Have you tried the effect of hitting F11? Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com
helene_t
The right mouse button doesn't work using chrome under ubuntu anymore. It used to work but whether it is due to a flash update, a gnome update, a chrome update, or the new bbo client I don't know. The right mouse button does work under chrome when using other sites than the bbo client, though.

We have not changed anything in this area. Right click seems to work for me running the latest versions of both Chrome and Flash Player under Windows. eleanorsf
Howdy, Several releases ago I had pointed out that there was no link to Rules in the free tourneys (maybe all tourneys). I can see that a link has been added (thank you!), but it is never highlighted, always dim. One TD that has posted rules is pebcat. He has daily tourneys at at 3:15am eastern time, and another one before 12:00 noon eastern time (not sure exactly when). I hope this will help you in trying to trace the problem. It is an issue we are aware of and one that we understand. We simply have not got around to doing the necessary programming yet. It is on our (long) list of things to do... 0 carbon
On the "sort by category" option, it would be good to be able to have more than one category open at a time, although I can see how multiple scroll bars may be an issue when there is more than a couple of categories open.It would be nice for categories to only be big enough to show the members & not have extra blank space. matmat
This has now happened to me several times. I can't really pinpoint when or why. (also, maybe this has been mentioned above somewhere, but I'm too lazy to check. sorry). All of the chat text, with the exception of smileys, vanishes. Changing the text size brings it back. Peter_f
I still use the windows software. The main reason for doing this is that the profiles stay visible too long - to close them manually is annoying. So I would like to have the possibility to adjust the "open time". Gerardo
Just move the mouse off the profile, and it will close, unless you have "Pin" turned on.
