Play for 3-2 in the blacks. I would have opened 1 planning to jump shift in diamonds. Your partner has a tough decision over 3; tough not to bid 4 even with the spade fit. 4 seems normal now that we've headed down this road. The rest of it seems very wrong but 7 was reasonable.

 

Sorry -- lost in space here. I'd ruff a club at trick 2 and play for 3-2 blacks; .

Rodney---my pard set his own problem by bidding 3cl-however.

to open 1sp,partner may well pass,and then one is reliant on oppps coming in.

 

at the same time agree the cl suit interesting.play club and ruff.depends on a even spade split.try another way
