peachy
If your choice is different at IMPs or MPs, pls state. Nobody vul.Auction (our side silent): 1C-1S-3S-PPPYour hand to lead: xx-Qxxxx-xx-AQJx
MarkDean
Heart for me, without great conviction.
shyams
I'd lead the Club Ace. I know it can cost, but a good look at dummy (and partner's carding to trick 1) would help direct the attack better. Who knows, clubs may be 4-3-3-3 and I may need to establish a second trick right away?
JLOGIC
If you're gonna lead a club might as well go with the full genius approach of the queen. I would always lead a heart without even thinking about anything else tbh
gwnn
♣Q. It has always been my dream to lead Q J then A vs a suit contract, the position has come up several times before but I always chickened out. If I can't bring myself to do it IRL maybe posting that I'd do it is a start.
bluecalm
♥ for me. Normal attacking lead in what is probably our 9card suit.Spade could work because one of the plans for declarer is cross ruff or ruffing 2 clubs in hand. I doubt we can do much about it anyway and if crossruff is going to work they had easy game probably.I find leading a ♣ suicidal it just helps declare with his plan whatever it is. gnasher
I'd lead a trump, because:- They're probably already too high for comfort.- Partner has some values but didn't overcall, so which suggests that either this is a 4-4 fit or declarer is short in clubs. Fluffy
dummy has a shortness and we control the clubs, this is an obvious trump lead
