Hanoi5
All white, you deal and get: ♠Tx♥Txxxx♦9xx♣AKQ Pa-Pa-1♦-Pa1♥-Pa-3♦-Pa? What are your options? Which do you take? Why?

Phil
Hamman eggs in one basket You get to use this phrase once a year and I think you are several over your limit.
Hanoi5
What would 3♥ mean here? Would you bid that? Is 3♠ better? Is 3NT better? We have AKQ in clubs so partner almost surely doesn't have that stopper...

Why? 4c...cue 3d can be such a wide range....I take a shot. I do have a max. Very strong chancepard has a stiff or void in h. I play he hasa stiff or void somewhere for 3d. jump rebids in minors are just tough hands...

We have AKQ in clubs so partner almost surely doesn't have that stopper... 3H would show a good 5 card suit, and forcing, similar 3S would also show some values, not necessarily length. You dont have a good bid, I would go with 3H, but 3NT is certainly also asensible alternative. With kind regardsMarlowe
mohitz
3NT seems routine to me.
jdonn
Have to try 3NT, you likely belong there and there is no other good way to reach it. 3♥ could get you there but could also get you to a terrible heart fit.
Tomi2
3♠ = I stop one black suit, do you stop the other?
jdonn
Lol. And if he stops one and bids 3NT you just cross your fingers that you aren't stopping the same one? You don't always have AKQ of your stopped suit, sometimes one of you has the ace and the other has the king!
