Even if partner is in the top end, 6♣ is a far shot, i.e: ♠ xx♥ Kx♦ Kxx♣ QJ10xxx 6♣ is on a finesse. (If you change a red card to a club, partner is not an agressive preemptor.) Agree since it seems to run counter to best strategy. IMO that is preempt when your ODR is very O and your defensive values are very low. In the sample hand the Opps are probably at best in a 50% slam if partner has zilch.
