If it comes round to you, do you bid 1S or 2C ? If you do one of those is 2D by partner natural, a raise or a good hand ? and would it make any difference if the 1D was minimum of 2,3,4 cards ? I post this in B/I because I think it's an area that people often don't think about, and even at expert level there can be slight differences of approach. I bid 1♠. partner has two places to play, I show him the lowest contract I can play. good question with 2♦; I would think it's natural.
