gwnn Posted June 26, 2010 Report Share Posted June 26, 2010 There is this very wide highway-ish street that connects Reykjavik and Kopavogur, I think 4 lanes each direction. The direction of this street is N to S almost exactly. So there is a bridge that crosses over this for bikes and pedestrians. There are some barriers on the sides so you don't fall off or something. But the barrier that faces South is only about 1m (3 feet) high and vertical while the other one is about four times as high and leans outward.
