pooltuna
Might there be something in the Java version that increases the likelyhood of mismousing? Recently picking up cards has become more flaky. Did someone mess with the program that handles that...er improve the java version in that area? The area to click on a card to play it seems reduced. I am using the Chrome browser but I do know that the upgrade to Flash 10.1 occurred ten days ago, so this is possibly the root cause. Paul Yes probably the Flash version whatever the newest and worse but less server intensive version was. I try to use this because it is less server intensive but this reduction in ease of card selection is very irritating and consequently I will be using the Windows version much more frequently (hint hint). Gerardo
Meanwhile, maximize the browser window, or even better, use full screen, that would make cards bigger.

mink
I started to encounter this problem about a week ago. I am using Firefox running under XP on a 22" Monitor full screen. The problem occurs when the cursor already rests on the card that I intend to play in the moment when it becomes my turn to play. In many cases, the card left of the card that I am pointing to is lifted and also played if I just click as I do not play enough attention. If the card under the mouse pointer is the leftmost card, no card is lifted, and nothing happens when I click. The problem disappears for the current turn after I move the mouse over some other card and then back to the intended card. I think this is a serious malfunction and really requires attention by the programmers! Karl
cloa513
I find the Flash version very bad as it sometimes takes 5 clicks to get it to select a card- it won't highlight anything and occasional mismouse selection as well. Once it cost me a trick as I don't try take back - too much hassle, fortunately it was on already made contract and it was just the opponents giving us a rediculous top score. barmar
I'll bet none of this would be a problem if you would use hand diagrams instead of pictures of cards.
ixm7
I'm experiencing the same problems. Win 7, Firefox.

BTW whoever said I needed to use diagrams, are you suggesting my preferences are of no significance? I prefer pictures because they are more like real life cards. pooltuna
It is starting to look like somebody is messing with the beta client a bit but it still picks cards better than before. Another irritation is the chat handling function I prefer to type in just one place with out having a profile popup and end up mailing a message to someone.I also would like the mouseover on/off button always visible so that the profiles are not constantly popping in when I am trying to play. fred
Another irritation is the chat handling function I prefer to type in just one place with out having a profile popup and end up mailing a message to someone. You can type in just one place if you want. There are 2 empty spaces at the bottom of the screen that you can use to specify the recipient and content of a chat message. There is a "Chat" button to the right of these spaces that you can use to send the chat message. Sometimes I think I am typing in one when in fact I have been moved to the popup profile.
