cloa513
How about 2♥, 2♦, 8♠ and 1♣ with double honours in hearts, diamond and an ace but no more in spades- after you denied spades so much there is no other good option then 4 hearts. I think... you can bid 3♠ with that!
y66
6♠, 3♥ I guess would be the logical meaning, probably 22 with relatively little in the way of high cards in the minors. Opener's bids do not make sense to me except as a picture bid sequence showing 6+ spades not good enough to bid 3S directly over 2H, exactly 3 hearts, and crap in diamonds and club. But why not raise 2H to 3H with that hand?
gwnn
in the hopes of being able to show more in the same space Partner will rebid 2NT very often and then 3H is a great description. If he rebids 3m, 3H is normally just 2 cards so it's bad for us. Give and take, what goes around comes around, yin and yang.
