How to compose my own *.Lin file

arrows

Recommended Posts

Hi, Whoever in charge here :-)

I am impressed so much by the way BridgeVu presents bridge related material that I would like to be able to compose my own *.lin files.

As I understand, BridgeVu is free to everyone, I wonder whether I am allowed

to distribute my own *.lin files and whether there's any guide or tutorial on how

to compose *.lin file for various purposes.

:D Thanks!

You are allowed to create and distribute your own .lin

files as long as you do not sell them.

If you want to sell them then you have to make an

agreement with Bridge Base Inc.

You are not allowed to redistribute the BBO software (or

any other program that acts as a .lin file viewer).

If you want to redistribute one of these programs then

you have to make an agreement with Bridge Base Inc.

Documentation and authoring software that makes it

easier to create .lin files is available, but it is not free.

Send me an e-mail (fred@bridgebase.com) if you want

more information about this.

The BBO Movie window contains a simple .lin file editor.

you are going to get flooded with request now fred... :-)

If you like lin software, be sure to check out the deal of the week hands on bridgebase.com and the Bridge Master example hands on the BridgeBase Online gaming site... better yet, buy some of the bridge master extra hands and other software Fred sells.

Oh and arrow,, you got the man in charge first time out. Meet Fred Gitelman, president of BBO, and author of the software... :0)
