gwnn
result hidden for people who are secretly resulters: partner had Kxx x KQJxx AQTx but the 2♠ had Kx of trump imp results hidden for people who are pragmatic resulters: teammates brought back +620 so win
hanp
6C is just bad, just bid 5C and see if they let you play it. Your other decisions seem fine.
vuroth
My problem with 3♣ is that we might talk partner into 3NT sometimes when we shouldn't be there. I'd almost be more comfortable with it if my heart and club honours were reversed. My hand isn't really very good in 3NT. Still, that's my only problem - anything else partner bids, I'll be happy. 6♣ seems a bit much. Does partner open 1♦ with 4♦s/6♣s?
neilkaz
I think 6♣ is too much here. I'd have bid 4♠ and respected PD's possible 5♣ s/off.

mikeh
If you really, really wanted to bid slam, why not 4♠ over partner's 4♣? Would any partner worthy of the name fail to bid slam when it is a good contract? Don't tell me it denies a heart control

ggwhiz
First 2 bids, not crazy. 3rd bid qualifies you as a force to be reckoned with in a certain Watercooler thread.
quiddity
The decision of what to bid over 2♠ is a difficult one for me. What factors should sway me towards bidding 3♣ instead of making a negative double? Would you also bid 3♣ with 1426 (and the same honors)? 2416? P_Marlowe
The first pass is ok.The 3C bid is ..., it does not exist in my book, but I guess you can agreeto play it as natural, given the high quality of the suit, I prefer eitherX or Pass.6C is just ..., I can understand bidding 5C, but bidding 6C is just crapshot. With kind regardsMarlowe
