andy_h
What does NF mean? Does it promise constructive values or can it be as weak as QJ10-6th and out? I hope the former so I will bid 2NT.

whereagles
2NT. Pass can easily be the right move, though.
Phil
2N. 3N looks possible on power, even though we are a long way from 9. The have to lead something. Nice ♥9 partner.

I hope the former so I will bid 2NT. yeah constructive but not forcing. partner actually has X 8xxxxKQJTxxA so 4H is a good contract. over the 3NT bid chosen at the table partner is a bit fixed - a club lead knocked his entry out. dake50
Partner actually held x8xxxxKQJTxxA and with moderate 10 count thought his good minor was more likely info for game than 5xH? Always 2H, then 3D, unless partner raises 3H/4H.

gwnn
yes they are:) we have spades, partner had that hand
Codo
1. I must have a bid to show a strong hand with no spade support. To me this had been 2 ♣. I may even had found 4 ♥, but....2. If I do not have one, I had choosen 2 ♦ too.3. I had passed 2 ♦- no success either, but maybe I a not used to partners who bid 2 ♦ with so strong hands....
