vuroth
That 7 of diamonds was sure good news wasn't it? Since I have no real way of telling who has either red king, I'd better use my knowledge in spades for an entry to dummy. Ace of hearts, spade, (over)ruffing unless LHO produces the king, which won't help him at all. AK of clubs, throwing diamonds. Actually, I think I'd better ruff with the queen anyways, to unblock. kgr
Since I have no real way of telling who has either red king, I'd better use my knowledge in spades for an entry to dummy. After the trump return from West, and the knowledge that West has the 4th Spade, you always have an entry to dummy. Either by letting trump run to Dummy or by taking the A and ruffing a Spade in dummy (Or with trump Q if East ruffs S with the A). But if you loose a trump trick (West ♥K) then you need to ruff a S for your 10th trick.Ace of hearts, spade, (over)ruffing unless LHO produces the king, which won't help him at all. AK of clubs, throwing diamonds.Well done. Actually, I think I'd better ruff with the queen anyways, to unblock.I found it good play for beginner-intermediate to let the ♥Q singleton in dummy and use it later as an entry by ruffing Spade. Or let East ruff a bad Spade with ♥K and have the ♥Q as entry. You better didn't include this last comment.
vuroth
Sorry, wasn't thinking. First heart goes under the ace, so of course I'm ruffing with the queen.
