Hanoi5
Bacon. It's only one thing, maybe Dutch French Fries can replace them (the ones they sell in Amsterdam near the Central Station with the topping you choose). Alcohol comes in so many types and seems to be neccessary sometimes so it is harder to give up.
Winstonm
Neither. Cigarettes are the hardest.

Fluffy
bacon is easilly givenup since it doesn't need to be eaten on social parties, at least not that often and you will find a substitute anyway.

G_R__E_G
I gave up alcohol once (as I was concerned I was drinking too much - silly me). I really didn't find it all that difficult. I have never attempted to give up bacon as I've never been concerned that I had a bacon problem. If you'd like I will give bacon up for 12 months and get back to you on my experience. PS Do I need to give up side bacon and back bacon? I'm Canadian and back bacon is kinda special to us up here.

gwnn
In unrelated news, I gave up salting food extremely easily (I do eat salty food but I do not salt stuff at all). Tastes felt weird for about 1 day and then all was great.

If you were eating good food it would be properly seasoned before cooking imo

jjbrr
No. I believe you mean "good food" is relative.
cherdanno
No. I believe you mean "good food" is relative. Yeah, Not every good food is properly seasoned bacon.

Gerben42
Why black or white, I mean a little bacon is not harmful... Enjoy it but don't overdo it. I guess this holds for everything except vegemite with tofu. Simply don't try that.

But then again, I'm not a fan of pork in general. Even after nearly 2 years in Britain, I'm still not used to the lack of salt. But then again, I'm Chinese and I love my soya sauce way too much...
