Fluffy
4NT meant as RCKB?, If I can use my own methods I try 3♣ invitational with both minors
karlson
Given the ratty clubs, I would just invite in diamonds by whatever method I had. At w/r, I'm sure some preempt or tactical bid would be the right answer, but I can't see 4n at r/w.

Well, I must admit that I am not that well-versed in RKCB, but that 4NT here should be RKCB was simply beyound my imagination. I have a fantazillion other options, if I am slamgoing with diamonds. If RKCB is "standard" here (which it might very well be), then people not changing that, are simply to lazy. My ?'s meant, if you really thought I wanted to RKCB on the hand. cherdanno
2D I'll probably bid 5C next depending on how the auction goes Why would you want to bid exclusion in clubs rather than spades?
Jlall
2D I'll probably bid 5C next depending on how the auction goes Why would you want to bid exclusion in clubs rather than spades? I assume this is a joke but I meant if the opps start bidding I'll bid 5C, and I assume they will be like almost always. If they pass I'll just go slow obv. hanp
Zia bid 2C. Schollaardt doubled, Welland passed and Wortel jumped to 4S. What's your next call with the given hand?

gwnn
Fair enough I thought it was something like that but how many? And partner should do what? Sorry about all the punctuation it is just pretty addictive.
phil_20686
isnt it a pretty crucial piece of information missing from the OP: How many diamonds has partner promised? Many people play now that one diamonds always 5 with all balanced hands opening 1c.
