Fluffy
all vul MPs ♠AQJ♥-♦KQJ10xxx♣9xx 1♠-2♦2♠-?? 2♠ means nearly nothing except that he doens't have 4 hearts nor extras (unless 1 suiter) nor 4 diamonds. Most of your likelly rebids like 4♥ now are gonna get a negative from partner, what next?
kenrexford
What do you mean by a "negative" What does partner actually do over 3♠? I mean, if he doesn't bid 4♣ or 4♦, we are off two Aces.
OleBerg
If GF has been established (2/1), then I would find 3♦ easy.
Fluffy
3♠ and 3♦ are getting 3NT natural from partner
gnasher
I'd bid 3♦, then cue-bid 4♣ over 3NT.
bluecalm
3♠ and 3♦ are getting 3NT natural from partner It's a pity in my opinion that 3NT is natural after 3♠ but all is not lost: 1♠ - 2♦2♠ - 3♠3NT - 4♦ = cuebid ♦, no ♣ cuebid, slam invite Now if partner doesn't have ♣ cuebid he will sign off and we will pass.If he has ♣/♦ cuebid he will realize that as we invite slam opposite his minium hand lacking ♣ cb he has perfect values for us and won't signoff. If he has both ♣ and ♥ cuebid he will bid 4♥. Seems simple ?
Fluffy
if you bid 4♦ over 3NT he is gonna bid 4♥
Codo
I had bid 3 ♠ and 4 ♦ too, given the methods. 4 ♥ shows a club control- good. I would now bid 4 ♠. I made a slam move allready and showed my club weakness. I did not show my heart shortness, but I doubt that this is the key to this hand. So I am fine with limiting my values for now. If 4 Spade has another meaning, I had started the bidding different- with 2 Diamond, 4 Heart- and pass 4 Spade.
