Without the corresponding 10's and 9's, you could well be limited to Jx, KJx being of possible value. That said, you have already given partner a good indication of what he may expect with the 2 rebid and he still forces with 2. On that basis I would bid 3 and let partner decide where he wants to be.

Presumably partner must have four diamonds now, as he didn't open 1NT?

 

Game is poor opposite KQx KQxxx AQxx x, because dummy will be forced twice. That seems likely to be a problem opposite most hands, so I think we're about 10 away from raising.

Just to make sure, 2 shows extras but it natural ? (ie. 3card?)

If yes my favorite toys tells me the game makes only in 32% of cases even opposite hands which would accept our invite (17hcp hcp with 3-5-3-2 or 16-17 with 3-5-4-1).

Pass seems the best, especially at MP's when just playing in will give you a great score.
