So far spain hasn't smacked anybody yet. Their play has been absolutely beautiful at times, but only barely good enough to make it through each round.

wtf you wanna talk seriously? :P

ok, seriously, everyone in Spain was convinced that we were gonna meet argentinain the semi finals and they were cheering for germany because they though it was the weakest team of the 2 O_o. If I wasn't so scared I would just rotfl at them. Oh and they think Germany is a piece of cake lol.

Well spannish people ain't so smart anyway. If I could accept a deal to go to penalties I'd do it right now.

Group stage:

101 goals

48 games

Average: 2.10 goals per 90 minutes

KO stage:

32 goals

12 games + 3 extensions

Average: 2.46 goals per 90 minutes

Total:

133 goals

60 Games + 3 extensions

Average: 2.18 goals per 90 minutes

Overall, still a disappointing record. It is not Germany's fault , they have made by far the most goals (2.6 per game). A large share in the low rate has Paraguay. In 480 minutes, although they received only two goals, they only made 3 goals. Only Algeria and Switzerland made less goals per game.

So within 90 min. the Spanish team scores 1.2 goals while their opps could only score 0.4 goals.

The German team scored 2.6 goals in 90 min. while their opps could only score 0.4 goals.

The Netherlands scored 1.80, but allowed 0.6.

no offence intended, ut making averages with only 5 matches played at most is pointless

oh there is a funny average you missed, Spain averages 1.2 penaltys taht referees don't call per game.

I had a good laugh when I ran into it.

(I would not have wasted my time to calculate all the averages.)

I have voted every time for Netherlands since I got my first football shoes....will I ever get this bet right? :)

It looks like I would have the chance this time! The huge ;) pot with about 180 € is waiting for me in my favourite pub B)

It's so absurd, 11 players that are not from my country, I've never seen them play in real life, they lost a football game on a football pitch more than 10000 km's from here. Why do I still get affected? :(

Of course Spain were much better, nice play.

mwuhahahahaha, after Codo, Uwe and Cherdano are gone, now it is time for gerben and han to hit the ground. We gonna make those dutch cry, SHOW NO MERCY!

What a demonstration.

Really well done, really deserved.

But our team is young and will improve. They will win 2012 and 2016. :)

Sadly that yellow press sports newspaper is actually the newspaper most read in the country overany of the ones with politically biased news about economy and politics and that.
