National final, against a regular contributor to these forums. (The small cards I've made up, but guts of the hand is right).
Fluffy
my intuitive play wich probably sucks is ♥AL pitching a club, then ♣A+♣

Fluffy
duck the diamond, ruff the heart and play ♠A+ ♠ to the
Cyberyeti
I have a strong suspicion you go off in both cases. This is the actual layout: [hv=w=sq632hj1073dk83c73&e=s9hq962d96542ckj5]266|100|[/hv] I played a club to the 10 at trick 2 and it held. I now decided all I needed was a 3-2 trump break or singleton Q, so played spade to the K, KH and 10S. I got forced and went off. I think what I should have done on seeing the 9S is to run the 10D and whether it wins or loses, the S 108 ensure I will get to dummy to take the club pitch on the KH and if the 10D loses my hand is basically high excluding the QS.
