0 carbon
When GIB does something really stupid :o, it would be nice to have a BBO ID to send the problem hand to. Then the GIB programmer can have a series of hard test cases to fix GIB and recursion test it :D . tOM
barmar
There are two ways to report problems with GIB. There's a GIB Robot Discussion forum right here, where you can post about the problem. In the BBO web interface, when viewing the hand in My Hands, click on Options and select "Send Robot Report".
bid_em_up
You could also send it directly to Arigreen via Forum messages or with a little thought, you could probably figure out his email address.
0 carbon
There are two ways to report problems with GIB. There's a GIB Robot Discussion forum right here, where you can post about the problem. In the BBO web interface, when viewing the hand in My Hands, click on Options and select "Send Robot Report". What web version are u using? No such option. Just:- save deal as- handviewer link- send to member- send abuse report BTW, the handviewer link is a little broken. When I click on the show button, i get "about:blank" in the address line and nothing on the screen. I have to copy the link and paste it into the address line. I'll just have to remember AriGreen. But why not a permanent name like RobotProblem? As for forum posts, I'd rather report the problem as it happens, not go thru the rigmarole of opening a new window/tab, logging in, creating a thread, creating a handviewer link, and copying the handviewer link in, then add my comments. That would tend to slow down play A LOT and be a big waste of time. That's an idea! :) Why not have the hand option: - create forum postand do all that automatically! Would be nice not just for robot problems, but for lots of situations! tOM
barmar
I'm using web version 1.35. Hmm, it looks like robot report is only available for robot tourney hands, not when you play against robots in the MBC. When I look at a hand from a tourney, the options under Export deal are: Save deal asHandview linkHand editorSend to memberSend robot report Clicking on Handviewer link pops up a window that says "You can select and copy this link to the Handviewer program:" followed by a tinyurl.com link. Do you have a problem with other pop-ups in the web version of BBO?

Do you have a problem with other pop-ups in the web version of BBO? It might be available in Main lobby - I was checking an ordinary tourney. As for the handviewer link, when I click the "Show" button, I get the address line "about:blank" and no hand when I click the link. Using Firefox 3.6. If I copy the tinyurl link and put it in the address bar, then it does work. It was working in earlier Web versions.
0 carbon
BTW, the handviewer link is a little broken. When I click on the show button, i get "about:blank" in the address line and nothing on the screen. I have to copy the link and paste it into the address line. Problem solved - I was using the RequestPolicy addon for firefox and the default was not to allow opening other pages from a flash program. Allowed BridgeBase to open anything, and all was solved. tOM
