For these threads that get overheated with obscenities and such, perhaps instead of a "blue envelope" there can be a brown pile of dung with steam coming out of it. They just read and posted to threads that didn't bore or annoy them, and the people who weren't bored or annoyed with the thread, well, those people would continue to participate in it.
