LollyPopp
hello all who read this,i filled in complete diagram so hope this will show if not i'll try to ventilate my nuisance-GIB never trusts his partner-someone shud teach him that-this game i'm refering to is the absolute limit -Robot Duplicate #6962 may 6th 2010"My" GIB North opens and passes-E 3S -(me) DBL -W pass N 4C i have 1small C and AKQJxx in H plus K S plus Kxxxx in D so i don't wanna play C and bid 4H which is gameand normally yr pard shud pass-My hardheaded GIB has AKxxxx in C plus support of 10xx in H and does not respect my bid so he raises to 5C which is 1 trick more, lessscore and no support from me-so i,m not sofheaded either and bid 5H guess what "my"GIB 6C so i swear him into hell and bid 6H and ofcourse he bids 7Cso we end up in 7H which is (how is this possible???) not dubbeledresult minus 3 so bottomline why doesnt GIB stop when ur in game and there is no possiblity whatsoever to get to slam?? bb79
I wouldn't double 3♠, I would directly bid 4♥ (at least in gib's system)doubling then bidding new suit shows a great hand in gib's system, as the alert says 20+points. gib also wants to trust his/her partner :P therefore doesn't pass. you can see how gib would interpret your bid by hovreing your mouse on that particular bid. jjbrr
agree, double was the problem.
