rwbarton
After 1♥ - 1♠2♣ does anyone play xyz-like followups: 2♦ = puppet to 2♥, to play or for invite2♥ = artificial GF2♠+ = ? Any significant advantages or disadvantages over regular 4SF?
grucha78
Recently I saw following solution:2♦ - puppet to 2♥,sign off in ♥ or ♠ or any GF2♥/♠/NT/3♣ - invite Pawel
rogerclee
[14] Special 3rd and 4th suit auctions - 1H-1S-2C-2D = Weak preference to 2H or art game force - 1H-1S-2C-2H = Constructive preference from one of Fred's old convention cards. IMO it's very useful to be able to show 2 different kinds of preferences in either a natural or strong club system (where "strong preference" in a strong club system can be as much as 12-13 depending on how light you open). Agreed. Me and my partner played something like this in Bart situations, i.e. 1♠-1N(f)-2♣ 2♠ weaker 3 card limit raise3♠ stronger 3 card limit raise2♦ artificial...2♠ weak preference2N stronger non-fitting invite Certainly one could prioritize the 2 different preference ranges instead of keeping more of limit raises low.
