hanp
p - (1D) - Dbl2D - 3D (2H would be NF)3S - 4C4D - 4H4S - keycards That one seems easy. Even if West misguidedly bids 2S after the double, east can just bid 3C and you get to slam. After a 1C opening it seems tough to reach 6C. gnasher
I wouldn't pass as West. 1♣-1NT (clubs or bal / clubs inv+)2♦-2♥ (4+ clubs, minimum / nat)2NT-4♣ (balanced / natural forcing)4♠-4NT (cue / RKCB)5♥-6♣

ONEferBRID
Dealer: West Vul: Both Scoring: IMP ♠ Axxx ♥ xx ♦ Qxx ♣ AJ10x ♠ Qxx ♥ AQJ10 ♦ A ♣ KQ9xx 1C - ( 1D ) - 1H 1NT - 2D! ( NMF ) 2NT - 3C ( GF, shifts emphasis from Hts to Cl ) 3S* - 4C! ( Minorwood in GF auction ) 4S ( 2-cQ) - 5D ( = kickback for specific K's; 4NT and 5C are to play ) 6C ( no K's ) - all pass________________________________________________________*3S cue; denies Diam and Ht Ctrl In the dark it looks like slam is less than 50% except for the fact that North (overcaller) probably holds all the missing K's

This is more or less the auction at the table, but East decided to bid 3NT over 3♠ insted of showing a not so good club on a hand that might be a missfit. It wasn't a good decision this time.
