BudH
For a computer with both ACBLScore and also using Dealmaster Pro and also linked to PlayBridge Dealer4 for making preduplicated boards, 1. How much memory and processor speed is a good solid minimum for the Dealmaster Pro and Dealer4 interface? (Will a simple basic desktop computer with a low end processor these days with 4 GB RAM be plenty of computing power for this?) 2. Will everything run on a computer with Windows 7 (64 bit version) Home Premium? Or should the Professional version be bought which allows Windows XP emulation? 3. Are there any other special considerations you can think of in a computer to be used by a local bridge club? Thanks in advance for your advice, Bud H
Hanoi5
I'm sure those specifications (low end processor these days with 4 GB RAM, although I don't quite understand what low-end means if it's gonna have windows 7 and 64-bit) are more than enough. Just check with the guy at dealmaster, he always answers e-mails pretty fast. Make sure the computer has wi-fi.
Rossoneri
Never used Dealer 4 myself before, but I've seen a computer with Windows XP, Pentium 4 and 1 GB RAM run Dealmaster Pro perfectly fine.
blackshoe
My fairly old XP laptop with 256MB of RAM runs Dealmaster Pro just fine.
BudH
Make sure the computer has wi-fi. Why should the desktop computer need Wi-Fi?
