Best system to start

Recommended Posts

This was a recent thread here about a learning a strong club system here recently and a search for threads in the past two months should should turn it up.

Regarding preferred relay scheme, I would say anything based on a symmetric relay base (vanilla, TOSR, SCRAPE, et all) -- IMO, everything else is just reinventing an already perfected wheel :D...

Try MOSCITO. It looks complicated, but it isn't, and in a way it's completely natural (I consider a 1 opening showing 4+ as natural as a 1 opening showing 4+). You'll have an efficient relay system, but also the option to bid naturally. Only 2 disadvantages: you'll have to alert almost every call you make, and more important, you'll have to work on your agreements when opps intervene.

try reading the pdf file on symmetric relay by Andrei Sharko (google should give it to you really fast)! it's a relay system but it's a great funny read by this NZ author. and it really is easy to learn the tables and the logic.
