phil_20686
[hv=d=s&v=b&s=sxxxhqjxxdxxcj9xx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] The opposition bid uncontested to 7s,1d-1s4d-4n6c-6h7s Dummy showed a solid diamond suit with the Q of trumps and a club void plus one more keycard. 4d showed a solid diamond suit with 4 card support 6-4, 6c showed a club void plus an even number of keycards. 6h asked for the trump queen, and 7s showed it. What is your lead? EDIT: Your opposition are ex polish U25 internationals, and extremely good. If that matters to you.
OleBerg
♣ The only way my lead can affect the outcome, is if something is not kosher. So I play West for a bluff; she is void in Hearts, not Clubs.
helene_t
If they have a heart loser, a heart or club lead could give away the contract. Any particular reason to prefer a diamond or a spade?
jjbrr
I'll lead a club. Hoping ♦ aren't solid and partner has ♣A or something.

P_Marlowe
Hi, Queen of hearts, I think this time you need to attack, otherwise the diamonds suit will run. With kind regardsMarlowe
gwnn
clubs to try to make their communications messed up or a spade on general principles. I don't care for the other two alternatives. I don't think Oleberg presents a valid reason though, they would never bluff themselves into a grand (and for what it's worth Polish juniors seem very reluctant to bluff at all!) The diamond suit either runs or it doesn't, how will leading the Q♥ matter?
Fluffy
sounds like opps are about to claim, but tapping dummy is the only thing that might work, so club.

And even once in 1000 when I'm right, people will just think I got lucky.
skaftij
A club might tap dummy if partner does have a slow diamond stopper after all but I lead a passive trump since a club may present the 13th trick, e.g if only six diamonds in dummy

Anyway, I suspect the guy bidding grand is counting on 5-6♦ tricks from partner for his bid.
