I voted for 65 cuz they are often fun. I agree with kfay that 4441 is one of my least favourite.

I want my opponents to have it often because it usually plays badly and is hard to handle on the auction.

 

I want our side to have it because we know it plays badly, we know it is hard to handle on the auction, and we have devised ways of handling the various ranges of it (or eliminating its possibility in other auctions).

I like the 7-6 hands too. I've had three of these that I can remember with very good results (plus amusing auctions) on all. The most recent one we had the auction 1♠-2♦-2♠-P-6♠ and LHO with three aces made the good decision not to double. Still a good result for 6♠ making in a weak pairs field though.

4414 or 4441 because, its easy to handle :)

I like to get a 4441. Of course it's awkward but the opponents have the same hand and are likely to misevaluate it or misbid it or be playing a system where 4441 hands are in the too hard basket by design.

I really like the symmetry of the 4441s... maybe someday a 2D opening to show a 6-10 4441 will be legal again - ha.

 

But for the poll I voted 5431. Especially when the 4 ranks above the 5, these are the bread-and-butter hands where the player with good methods really racks up the points over the average club player.

I really hate 4441 hands, and I love 5431 followed by 6430, but that's what most people have just said, wich makes me wonder why because all of them should be more or less te same O_o.

 

I also like 4432's the most for balanced, even more than 5422's.
