Aberlour10
I took a look at this site, it seems to be similar to the strategy games like Age of Empires...or?

inquiry
I took a look at this site, it seems to be similar to the strategy games like Age of Empires...or? yes. and massively multiplayer It is a very slow game, at least at first. When you join, you build things for a solid week before much really happens. It helps if you can go on line and do something fairly regularily, as there is a lot of time between builds, and when one stops, the next does not start. I am trying it now. Already been accused of being a spy in my alliance. I am not quite sure what advantage there is in being one, but I am not. I am trying to be helpful (like here), maybe that is a bad thing there.... :(
gwnn
I see a LOT of ads to it. I think on Facebook and on Yahoo-related sites. One of them has a luscious peasant girl with quite a cleavage and she says "be my Master" or something. But I never played it and never plan to. Hanoi5
I played it. It takes too much time, specially for a nearly obssessive person like me. I also played Ogame which was 'kinda' similar.
gwnn
haha found this hilarious site about their ads http://contexts.org/socimages/2009/07/14/e...video-game-ads/
Fluffy
I play spacegame (sg.velmad.com) wich is pretty much the same, multiplayer massive strategy game wich lasts for months. I have played loads of online games like this. And I even helped devloping velmad (www.velmad.com, it is a turn based 18'th century fleet simulator), I never heard or tried evony, but could give it a try maybe. I always though that it could be very fun to take a dozen of BBO regulars and jump together in a game like this and dominate it :), does evony games start from zero?, having to catch up with players who have been playing the game for years its kinda impossible. I got seriously into Travian a few years back. These games are massive time sinks. If you want to do well, you need an Alliance numbering in the hundreds... jonottawa
LOL at those who tried this game. Suckers for sex ads. EVE is the best game ever. Bridge runs a close second. Why play anything else?

SG has a much little crow, each game of 2-4 months has about 30 regular players and 20 non regulars. I've wasted an insane ammount of time playing it :D
Rossoneri
Was rather amused when this group of cheaters from a multi-user dungeon I used to play ran off to play Evony...Last I heard they managed to piss off enough people on their server to cause their own destruction... There's something similar to Evony on Facebook, it's called Kingdoms of Camelot.
Mbodell
I tried evony for a while and liked the system of using real time as the currency to build stuff. It lead to interesting timing logistics of what project can I build before sleep/bridge/work etc. so that I'm always building and never idle. But once one gets ones city to near max the lack of a particular scroll prevented me from building lvl 10 buidings and it seemed the game basically died. Fluffy
I had the luxury of playing a similar game to ebony, with my mother (sometimes with her as ally, sometimes with her as opponent). For about 2 years before she died. That was really priceless. She introduced to the game some very good friends of mine now.
