Fluffy
it seemed that finally there would be an american team, but USF1 finally resigned :/. But CNN is gonna sponsor Lotus, so maybe the races are being watched in US to some extent.

Hanoi5
I've always wondered what's so fun about watching those cars run around the track x times.
gwnn
it's boringgggg. at least in NASCAR you know they could die on the track. there are a million times more overtakes in nascar than F1. that said, it was pretty sweet when Hamilton won the world championships in the last lap, by overtaking some random noob to finish 5th and not 6th!! That random noob happens to be Jenson Button, the current world champion :), he made the last 5 laps on the wrong tires since he thought he would lose more time in the box changing them than just running with the current ones. But nevertheless it was very exciting that hamilton losed the world championship by just 1 point on the last race 3 years ago, then won it by 1 point 2 years ago. gwnn
oh right :) well he's a random noob anyway :) only won becos of his car. or better said because of all the other cars were crap in the first half of the season.
hotShot
Well the races are kind of boring since overtaking is almost impossible, but it's always fun to see that the FIA changes the technical specifications to slow down the cars, and the engineers build cars with that spec's that are faster than the cars from last year.... And of cause some are better in choosing their pit stops than others.

Rossoneri
It was Glock, not Button. And I am not really fond of Hamilton, having the local media here hyping him up the day after the lucky win didn't help! Will be interesting to see how Schumacher performs. Lol I hate Alonso (spanish driver) so much, when I was watching races with friends, it was so boring at the start, everyone was cheering the same guy, there were no arguments, what's the point of watching a sport withourt arguments?. So I made myself a fan of Kimi Raikonnen. My friends have had a great time laghing at me after that sicne ALonso has beat him almost always :(
Phil
USF1! We were approached very early about F1 at Thermal: F1? F1 would love to be back in the states since they are missing out on a big market. NASCAR is trending downward and they see this as an opportunity. However, Bernie prefers to deal with COUNTRIES instead of private tracks. The annual sanction fee ranges from $10 MM to around $30 MM, plus he hogs the concessions, TV revenue so this is a big loser for a track owner. On top of this designing to FIA-1 standards are extremely expensive.
hotShot
Well the show has started, the drivers and teams have given a a first idea what they can do.Tomorrow after the qualifying session we will know more.
Fluffy
lol, the spannish team was able to finnish a couple of laps, but they are 12 seconds behind!!, running the car for the first time during practice is not ideal :P
