rogerclee Posted February 28, 2010 Report Share Posted February 28, 2010 6D is the worst bid since it is just not bridge, you have a hand which is not good at all for saving (bad trumps, doubleton heart, etc) and might have already won a lot by making your completely marginal preempt. Not doubling 5D is pretty terrible, I would call that second worst 5D was pretty aggressive but not crazy. Bidding 4H instead of 4D was bad but understandable if he didn't want to make a 1-under cuebid when partner on average has 1-2 diamonds (and so his AK is not pulling its weight). I mean w/w with nothing...??????????? 5H is lol with all defense and balanced and no offense... 5D is quite bad, but nothing compared to 5H and 6D imo. FWIW 4H instead of 4D is bad, the hand is too good for 4H which is usually min GF or max LR...but compared to the rest of the bids it's whatever.
