elan5 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 Filling in the Profile Section of the Registration yields different results depending on how I type it....sometimes, it arbitrarily jumps to next line; sometimes '"cuts off" some of the type (even on line1 or 2); can't get it to allow me to type on the "Other" line (though I do see it used by others). All in all, does this section not accept certain characters, like "-" etc. In other words I am unable to "maxamize" description of my profile, because I am doing something wrong, I guess. Some profiles I view have 4 lines of type; the MOST I can get if I really jury-rig the typing, will give me 3 lines. Help! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
diana_eva Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 When you see that you are allowed to enter only a short text on one line, then you need to put a space somethere in the next words, there must be a very long phrase that cant be divided, like "RKC0314/Bergen/2wayCB/Gerber/Cue" something with no breaks at all... so you split it up with a space somewhere, like "RKC0314/Bergen/ 2wayCB/Gerber/Cue" - this allows part of it to fit in first line... Other hint, most economic sparator is a dot. You can fill in most stuff if separated by dots, no spaces, given that you visualise it and enter spaces whenever you want the row to end. Also, if you want to fill in 4 lines instead of 3, put an "enter" between the rows... then type before it, being careful not to delete it. Thus you get the 4th line, not sure why it happens this way, but i guarantee it will work ^_^ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
