Have the old italian Spaghetti Western's with Franco Nero, Klaus Kinski, Lee van Cleef etc. been ever quite popular in the USA?

Lee Van Cleef made a great "The Bad" in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. That one's on my short list.

I now have to add The Dark Knight to my list - and what is really weird is that I don't particularly like the movie - but the Heath Ledger role as The Joker is so unique and captivating that after watching it a couple of times not watching it the next time becomes impossible.

Today-its all about money, lots of it in the hope its a smash hit,but no guarentees,

I refer back tothe old days, and quality--- any movie with Humphrey Bogart-Sydney Greenstreet-Syney Poitier,Ingrid Bergman-and Clint Eastwood-Paul Henreid,

Spencer Tracy-Henry Fonda-and Daugther-Goldie Hawn-Cary Grant,Gregory Peck--to name a few.--Rod Steiger-Tom Hanks

BEST Films "The Bridges of Maddison County" African Queen--Casablanca-Pretty Woman--The Million Pound Note---Lawrence of Arabia, these are milestone Films.

How i miss top quality films today, and a very Serious film How "I learned to love the Bomb" Peter Sellars------It nearly happened.

A Film thaat should be shown Bi-Anually is "The Relief of BELSEN" starring

Iain Glenn-jemma Redgrave-Corin Redgrave 1945.get it out if you dare
