You get dealt this nice hand, and partner opens 1NT (15-17)

Fairly standard agreements here, Stayman and 4 suit transfers.

In fairness to Mike, there was a time that 2S MSS, 2NT clubs, 3C diamonds WAS what was most commonly meant by "4-suit transfers." In my neck of the woods, two-under transfers appeared around 2000 and caught on like wildfire within just a few years - I think because nobody had decent followups to MSS anyway.

As to the original hand, if you have a way to show both minors, use it, obviously; if you don't, well, that's too bad on this deal. I guess I'd transfer to clubs, and start cueing if partner shows a positive (for me a positive is any of A, K, or Q, and I'm gambling it's not Qx.) If partner turns you down, or your agreement is to have Kxx or better for a positive.... the good news is 3NT with overtricks beats all the pairs who have bidding accidents, as well as being the top spot if the slam isn't there.

2S is a transfer to clubs, 2nt a transfer to diamonds.

Transfer then new suit is natural, showing a 2 suited hand.

If you bid 2S partner will pre-accept with 2nt

If you bid 2nt partner will bid 3D

No useful 3 level responses here, they show single-suited slam tries

Add me to the transfer to clubs and bid diamonds. In fact, I think you should probably systematically define that series of bids as any minor suit hand with slam interest and both minors, combination of 9 cards in the minors, when you have these hand types, given your other methods.

2 as Minor-suit Stayman, easy for me.

If partner bids 2NT, I bid 3 to show a really nice suit and definite slam interest. If partner bids 3 or 3 (showing 4 or rarely 5), I use Kickback to ask.

And if you're playing the system actually being asked about you....... ?

I'll transfer to Diamonds, use 4 as Kickback to ask about AK and Q of Diamonds. If partner doesn't show anything good, then I'll close-out in 5. If it happens that our suit is better, then that'll teach you and partner to use 2 as Minor-suit Stayman!!!

WTP then since you say transfer and new suit is natural as shows a 2 suited hand.

Transfer to then bid 3.

True, if you don't use minor suit stayman you are banned from showing both suits so you force to slam in the weaker one, that'll teach us!
