gwnn
xxxxQTKxxxxxx p-1♦-4♠-5♥??? favorable imps! Partner likes to open quite sound. His opening preempts are quite solid. You have almost gone off in 5♠ once when he tried for slam with AK A A opposite your 4♠ opener (not saying that it's absurd to do so, but just to illustrate what he is accustomed to). But of course now you're a passed hand so who knows what he's got? edit: I got the minor wrong.
whereagles
pass. it's not our hand and opps are in deep trouble. let's see where they land and (perhaps) bid later... lol
karlson
Deep trouble? Everything is lying perfectly for them. I would pass in the hopes of not pushing them to a making slam. If they do bid a slam, I suspect I should probably save.
hotShot
I pass and leave it to partner to dbl.
helene_t
I pass and pull partner's dbl.
billw55
5♠. With four trumps, a doubleton, and a side king, my hand is much better than it could be.
Codo
With the king of diamonds in front of the diamond bidder, a four card spade suit and the queen of hearts where they will search her- no way I am pushing them to the very likely making slam. I pass and it is not close.

I pass and it is not close. I am thinking that since I am a passed hand, partner need not be weak for his 4♠ call. In which case, maybe their slam is not so cold. Understanding this, partner can decide whether to bid 6 over 6, if ops try it. Totally wrong thinking?
ArtK78
Pass. Don't alert the opponents about the magnitude of our side's spade fit. They will be better able to judge the potential of their hands for slam if you raise spades. If partner doubles (which shows that he really meant it when he bid 4♠ :) ), bid 5♠. billw55
I don't quite understand all the fuss about pushing them into a making slam. If we think their slam is so cold, we have an easy 6♠ bid over it. It might not even cost more than their game at favorable. But what if they are only making five? Don't we want to save over that too? Partner can't do it alone.
jjbrr
I'd just bid 6♠ now and be done with it.
gwnn
9 tricks in spades and 10 in hearts. Pd has sp AQJTxx and diamond KTxx and another ACE I think. edit: KTxx of clubs and not diamonds of course.
P_Marlowe
Hi, If you have the agreement in place - you could make a X,showing offense and defence, partner should bid 5S with no defence at all. This or a similar agreement is useful, if your preempts arewideranging facing a passed hand. With kind regardsMarlowe

If you took the push, this translates to -300 instead of +50, vs -650,if all my wrong decision would be that cheaply, I would start winning.
