How do I get a convention card to do

You chose one of the stock convention cards. BBO Basic, Acol, Precision etc.

It is also possible to make such a convention card (called a full disclosure file) yourself. You will have to use the bidedit.exe program that comes with the old downloadable windows client for BBO. It is a lot of work, though.

What do you mean, Mohit? I would say the FD files alert everything if it's defined. It doesn't destinguish between artificial and not, other than that the explanation includes the word "artificial" if it is.

I think there is a case for having the BBO CC behave the following way

a ) Whatever bids have been defined in the FD appear on the top right portion of the screen, when you take your mouse over the bid. This already works.

b ) The bids which are defined as artificial in the FD should be alerted just like GIB does. That is it should appear in blue. And when clicked and/or hovered, the explanation would pop up. This is what i was talking about.

Hi Dave,

Very hard to do so. It won't print well.

Can you study it online instead?

SAYC - Std American Yellow Card (identical to SAYC) and BBO Advanced (identical to BBO Advanced 1.3) can actually be printed out if you click on "show", take a picture, then print the picture.

The others are not easy to print.

If you don't have a digital camera, use this method to take a picture of what's on your screen:
