His first question says "In your 2/1 style" so presumably he wants to know what your system is.

1) 0 up to to anything less than direct 2 raise with 3+, or any hand too weak to invite giving false preference.

2) 2

3) ~8-9 and 5+, interested in game opposite extras.

4) Stronger raise than 3.

If you play Kaplan inversion, you also have 3+ for a 2 rebid... :blink:

 

I like kaplan inversion AND gazzilli, so that's 2 jokes in 1 :D

I think it's bad, and it's definitely weird, 2 on 4522 is the normal rebid. What's the point if 2 can still be a doubleton anyway so you aren't even fixing a problem?

There are worse things to do :blink:, it depends on how often you pass 2, I have the impression that I pass 2 much more than most of the forum crew.
